The Torres hamstring problem that will keep him out of Sunday’s bout with Chelsea means two of the Prem’s top striking dynamos will be out of action this week (Agbonlahor has also been all but officially pulled from Villa’s home fixture against Newcastle) with similar injuries. The hamstring doesn’t get nearly as much pub as his bratty little cousin, but it’s too potentially vicious in this sport to underestimate. Villa’s Thomas Sorenson, whose career has been legitimately hamstrung this year, certainly won’t disagree.
