If this was 101tennis.com, you might see the lengthiest of commentaries on this Djokovic-Federer “duel” going down at the Australian Open semifinal as we sleep. Or, maybe you’d just see these words: “WTF, FEDERER!?!?” Hopefully he wakes up before you all do.

Of course, not much else should matter down under when it’s time to revel in the outset of the Hyundai A-League playoffs this weekend, beginning with the Sydney FC-Queensland Roar clash moments from kickoff. It’s this week’s chance to remind once again how succinctly wholesome this conference is. Chubby-cold-Fosters-can wholesome. And no 1-vs.-8 first-round matchups here. Next week’s matchup between the Newcastle Jets and Central Coast pits the top two teams from the regular season as the Page playoff system continues to work its magic in aggregate form.

And looks like the starting lineups for tonight are out, with Jeff Friedman’s boy a scratch from the active list.
